The 46th Annual PAACE Conference on Adult Education, the largest gathering of adult educators in Pennsylvania, will be held March 14 - 16, 2011 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel in State College. Adult educators, administrators, researchers, tutors, and practitioners from related workforce and education fields are invited to attend this premier professional development and networking opportunity. Conference Schedule This year's conference will feature a variety of professional development and networking activities. Schedules will be posted here. The PAACE Conference includes opportunities for businesses and organizations to highlight their services and products to all conference attendees. The PAACE Conference is the premier professional development event for adult educators and their community partners in Pennsylvania. Sponsorship Opportunities: PAACE offers you the opportunity to support the PAACE Conference. Your sponsorship directly supports the professional development of some 800 PAACE members and conference attendees representing education and government agencies, community-based organizations, and other nonprofit organizations and private companies related in many ways to adult education at all levels. These teachers, administrators, researchers, policy makers, and partners — at local, regional, and state levels — extend their influence serving at least 75,000 multicultural adult students in Pennsylvania. There are sponsorship levels to fit your organization. All levels include multiple ways that your generosity will be shared with PAACE members and conference attendees. The sponsorship menu will be available soon. Exhibitors: We would like to invite commercial, non-commercial and craft vendors to participate in our marketplace. The PAACE Conference is the largest gathering of adult education field in Pennsylvania. The marketplace provides you with the opportunity to reach administrators, teachers, volunteer tutors, professional developers, professors, researchers, and state department agency staff related to adult and continuing education. The exhibit hours are: January 15, 2011 is the deadline for inclusion of exhibited name and information in the program. Presenter Information The Pennsylvania Association for Adult Continuing Education (PAACE) invites you to submit a proposal for presentation at the 2011 PAACE Conference to be held in State College, Pennsylvania. The conference committee is interested in outstanding and innovative practices in all aspects of adult education including basic literacy, basic numeracy, workforce development, family literacy, English as a Second Language, volunteer/community-based literacy, correctional education, and all other areas. The program committee is looking for presentations based on successful implementation, current research, and sound practice. PAACE invites you and your colleagues to submit a proposal for a concurrent session.

Hotel Information This year's conference has moved to the beautiful Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel in State College. Request the PAACE conference rate - be sure to stress the spelling as having a double A!
